This Havana-born athlete boasts 15 world absolute records of apnea diving, and this hazard was set after being part of the national team of synchronized swimming achieving as major success the individual title during the Panamerican Games in Havana 1991. After her second retirement of sports, she is attempting to found a proper institution related to the sub-aquatic world in Isla de la Juventud, being supported by the Tourism Ministry.
