  ALBERTO GRANADOS JIMÉNEZ  (1922-)

Born in Córdoba, Argentina, he became an inseparable friend of Ernesto Guevara’s, the “Che”. Together, they would make an anthological journey along Latin America (1951-1952) that would profoundly mark the continental pass of the “heroic guerrilla”. Several years after that, he would confess that his friendship with Che was part of his way of thinking and acting. He is being living in Havana for many years and he is the founder of the medical schools of Santiago de Cuba and that of Basic and Pre-Clinical Sciences “Victoria de Giron”. He is the author of scientific and testimonial texts about Che and has taken part in events about the life of the mythical Commander in many countries. In 1998, he co-founds in Buenos Aires the first South American Museum about Che.
